GENERAL


THE KITS

DELIVERY

  • Typically, Orders are processed and delivered within 8-10 weeks however delivery timelines depend on the complexity of your order and your location.

    We’ll provide you with an estimated timeframe during the ordering process and confirm your exact delivery date after manufacturing is complete

  • If your property has narrow roads, low bridges, steep gradients, or weight limits, please let us know during the ordering process. This allows us to plan ahead and arrange alternative delivery options, ensuring a smooth and stress-free process.

  • Ensure the delivery area is clear and accessible for the HI-AB lorry. If you anticipate any issues with access or placement, inform us as early as possible to make the necessary adjustments.

RETURNS

  • Once your drawings have been signed off and manufacturing has commenced, returns are no longer possible due to the bespoke nature of our kits. Before signing off on your drawings, ensure all details meet your requirements.

  • We thoroughly inspect all components before delivery to minimize the risk of damage. However, if any part of your kit arrives damaged, contact us immediately. We’ll arrange for replacements or repairs at no additional cost.

  • Orders can be canceled at no charge prior to the approval of the final drawings. Once drawings are signed off and manufacturing begins, cancellations are no longer possible, and charges will apply.

PAYMENTS

  • We offer the ability to pay for your kit with a 50% upfront deposit.

    Here’s how it works -

    1. Initial 50% Deposit: Secure your project with a 50% deposit upon placing your order.

    2. Final 50% Payment: The remaining balance is due before delivery of your completed oak frame.

    3. To use this option, please contact us with your frame specifications. We’ll review the details and issue an invoice for the deposit.

PLANNING

  • A 2-bay oak garage typically falls under permitted development and does not require planning permission, provided it meets size and height regulations.

    We recommend checking with your local authority.

  • 3-bay and 4-bay oak frames usually exceed permitted development limits and will require planning permission. Always confirm with your local planning authority before proceeding.


INSTALLATION

  • Yes! Our kits are designed for DIY assembly, but professional installation is available if preferred. Please contact us for a cost for installation services.

GARAGE KITS

  • Your kit will come complete with main posts, soleplates, eaves beams and the curved braces (all in green oak), together with rafters and studwork in treated softwood. The price also includes all necessary softwood weatherboard, staddle stones, DPC for lying under the soleplate and a fixings pack. This pack contains enough nails, timber plugs, pegs, pins and coach screws to fully assemble the frame and weatherboard. You will also be provided with a full set of easy-to-follow assembly instructions.

  • Our oak frame kits do not include roofing materials, groundwork or installation services unless stated otherwise. These can be supplied for an additional cost.

GAZEBOS
